Mr. Morton did not turn Sarah Bishop in for two reasons. First, he saw her when she first came in. He knew that she had lost her family. Second, was because he said that he was "disturbed that thee was Sarah Bishop responsible for the fire." I think that Mr. Morton did the right thing to take down the notice. I would have done the same thing. I would have destroyed the notice too.

Sarah try careful to not make anyone think that she was Sarah Bishop so she doesn't get turned in. Two, he did think that she was the one who started the fire. Mr. Morton is very kind but that doesn't take away form the fact that he in mad! I have a lot of respect for him after what he has done. Imagine if he had turned Sarah in. The soldiers would probably kill her. I am very thankful that he didn't turn her in. Good guy just a little crazy. Great job Chloe.
Mr. Morton didn't turn Sarah in for a few reasons. First of all he was a Quaker, Quakers were against any form of fighting or violence. He was also probably very curious, of who she was and what she was. Mr. Morton was one of those man who were very suspicious and liked to stick their nose in others business. I think that maybe Mr. Morton wanted to help her but his more suspicious side got the best of him and he ended up making her a witch in his head. I think that maybe Mr. Morton may have had a disease that allowed him to have a broader imagination.

Second, I think he felt bad for her. Mr.Morton had already offered her a place to stay so she didn't have to go back to the wilderness. Lastly, I think he decided not to turn her in because he didn't think she started the fire. I think he wanted to be friends with Sarah and protect her. Clearly Mr.Morton had plenty of good reasons to not turn Sarah in.
Mr. Morton didn't turn Sarah in for a couple of reasons. The first reason being that he is a kind man. He didn't want to turn in a young girl. I think that his religious beliefs did cause him to not turn her in. As a Quaker he doesn't really care about the war. Plus he was a major weirdo. I am really surprised that he didn't turn Sarah in.
